Bob's new 42-inch crude oil pipeline
Just Ron and I showed up this time. I don't suppose it had anything to do with the temperature hitting 95 F (35 C). We once again camped at Bob's hunting property, which now has a new "feature": a 42-inch crude oil pipeline to carry oil from the Canadian "oil sands" to refineries in Chicago. The magnitude of the construction project is absolutely staggering. Gotta keep those SUV's rolling just a bit longer. Not that we didn't enjoy the AC in the car on the way home.
