As if further evidence of insanity were required, I just completed my first ever Wisconsin overnight trip in January, thus having done one in every month of the year. If we get a mild spell next month, I might make it 12 months in a row.
I rode one of my usual routes, from Belleville to New Glarus Woods State Park by way of Monticello (where there's an excellent grocery store.) Expecting a cold morning, I arranged for a shorter ride back to Belleville, but it wasn't that cold. It was a mild night, as well, much more comfortable than some of those sweltering mid-summer nights. Goose down is wonderful stuff!
